A house is not a home unless it contains food and fire for the mind,as well as the body.

Letting go

Its still dark as I write this. I have a yearning to write this morning but not sure what. There is not a lot to share as my mind is yet not connected to the day a head. No coffee yet. Did feed the outside cat. As I go through my Labels to put in this blog one does stand out. "Letting go" I say that because of all the pushing I've put myself in the last few days. I also noticed my depression is popping up. Its slight which what makes it so hard to see. Its there. I see the signs now coming. I get anxious about little things. I tend to stare into space as my mind wanders from any task ahead and yes I do TOO much. And its OK. I know that this to shall pass. Treating myself today to quiet today. Just letting it go a bit that I need to do everything at this moment. Call a few friends to see how there doing, read a book..... at least some of it. Chill out.

I am working on the van. I removed the middle seats and now I may remove the back seat. At one point I was going to keep it. Now its impracticable. It doesn't work. I hear its uncomfortable and well its also the matter of storage. A regular bed gives me a lot more storage and ROOM. Yes more room,I think another 2 feet going around?  Yes!  I love what they did with the crates on the picture here. Of course I would put it so I can put things in it. Whats the purpose of using crates if you can't use it for storage?

Next week I'll load some pictures of what's coming along with it.

Just a short note that being wheat free is working for me

Except for a couple of weekends where I indulged in carbs this has been a fantastic month. I have for the first time in my life have energy. At one time I couldn't get out of bed on the weekends and just lay in bed wondering what the hell was going on. I know now wheat was killing me slowly and I'm not kidding either. My appetite has decreased to about 1/3 less and I can wait for my next meal without feeling like I'm starving. I eat good too. Baking my own bread. Gluten and grain free. It is the way I have to eat for now on. And Im enjoying it and feel tons better. Win win for me. Are you wheat intolerant? Come join us at Wheat Belly at FB or not.

I rode my bike today which I fixed. Yes it was broken for 3 months now. For some reason I couldn't get myself to fix the wheel. So what it is raining here. Its just water. OK drizzling. Not to bad. But I smiled the whole way!

My aching back!

They said no rain today. With highs in the 60s and plenty of sun. Tomorrow they said 20% rain and oh darn I forgot the temp. They seem to be confused because tomorrows weather is today's weather. Just rambling.
Spring is in the air and having my weekend off I started on it(cleaning that is). Got some cobwebs off the ceiling(why didn't I see them before?) Did the bathroom inside out. Shook all the rugs out.  Garbage day is Tuesday's here. My weekend is Sunday and Monday. So I threw the garbage over the fence. And that was my big mistake. You see my Landlady locks all her gates except for one. So thinking it would be easier I threw the garbage can over. Ha bet you know what happened. I guess the title tells all. Crap I got a kink in my back. Just hand me a cane will you because thats how I'm walking. Hunched over LOL When will I learn I'm not 21 anymore. Maybe when when I'm 61? I couldn't get to work on Tuesday. Double crap. Cause it takes away money from the van.

I did manage to do a few things!

I was able to get some things done. I put all the things Im putting in the van together Thats my Coleman heater, Coleman stove. My O2COOL 10" Battery or Electric Portable Fan. Among other things. This will be my bed  . Its going to be cut in half for a seat and a couch. Milk cartons will slide underneath.

   The boys cage

I also cleaned my boys cage out ...while sitting and cursing. Not at them but my stupidity of throwing that garbage can over. Nice smelling cage and 2 happy furry boys later makes it a wrap before I conked out for a nap. This is their cage, A martins  Rudd. Its over 5ft tall 24 inches wide 18 inches in depth. Has 3 full floors and 4 balcony's. I say balcony's because they are not skinny little shelves but a full balcony that you stretch out on(OK not us but them!). Spoiled little buggers.

Frank is no more

Because of monies and other situations Frank will not be coming home with me. That is sad but the good part is now I can save for a younger van. I was just jumping in to fast Really think about it. I just took a vacation which I spend more than I tended to ,lost a whole week of pay and then the rent comes up. I could have done it but I was getting anxious and worried how to pay everything. Not good for the health is it. So I let Frankie go. Sing on Frank someone will tend to you soon.
