Life is good...simply

Yeah its good when things are good!

Nothing crazy spectacular happened. Just good. Good day at work with the greatest co- workers. Wonderful customers. The sun was out but with a fast breeze. Made the flags flap like crazy ,the birds lose their balance a bit and and people sneeze. LOL Yeah allergies are among us. Me being one of big sneezers (is that a word?).  It was quiet. Good day to read outside with a good book. The biggest thing that happened...can't think of one guess that means nothing.

 Van is coming slower than I'd like

Hopefully by the middle of next month I will be searching. I'm working what ever hours I can. Walking back and forth to work. Brown bagging it. Taking buses instead of a taxi. No eating out. OK mostly. Did treat myself this weekend. Well is was my B day so had to have a little fun. What else can I do to save?

Yeah thats it for my exciting day,but it was good.

Virus overboard

I am sick. Have been sick now for 4 days.  I'm sleeping all day and my stomach is nauseous. A creepy little bug made its way into me.  I went all the way to work today and realized there is no way I could function. I was doubled over because I had been throwing up so my stomach hurts. I was dizzy. So off I went on the train to go back home. Hey at least I tried. I feel a little better after sleeping all morning. I had a yogurt and its staying down. I don't remember ever being this sick for 4 days. Except for a cold. When I went to work (or tried)my supervisor said other people at work had been sick also...with the bug. So thats my life right now.LOL On the good side my pets are VERY happy to see me home. What company they give me. Small furry bodies are not bad. Like a hot water bottle.

No hearing aids all day today

I received another day off from work today. Usually I have one day a week to rest my ears. So  this is the day. This is the day I air my ears so that the aids will not cause all that wax build up. Yeah I know disgusting but it happens when you wear them 12 hours a day. I know people who wear them longer ,cause well they have family to hear. I'm on my own so no need to do it.  I lipread well. Some people I can't at all but most times I get by. When to the deli this morning and had no problem.Went to CVS to try to pay my phone bill and ran into a slight problem. Well 1st they don't do it there and 2nd there was a African american lady who has a very deep accent so of course I can't lip read her at all. Not a bit. But like I said I made out OK cause I told her I was deaf. Of course she continued to try to talk to me. LOL Why? That's always interesting why people even though you tell them your deaf they try to talk louder. I can conclude its just the way of people,that it is a human thing to act out of kindness to speak louder so you can understand what they are saying. In other words they are not doing it to be mean or otherwise.
I missed a phone call but was able to call back later. A friend who we are going together to florida. We are driving..or should I say I am driving. Any way she wanted to know if the GPS she is buying was big enough. When Im on the cell phone I don't need my aids. I use the speaker phone and I can hear normal,well as normal as a deaf person can.
