A house is not a home unless it contains food and fire for the mind,as well as the body.

Folding those clothes...neatly

I did a experiment today. I took all my T shirts(just the clean ones) which totaled to 9. Now I'm a large woman so if your average you can probably add 3 t's more(and if your tiny add 2 more to that). I folded them round like this

Then I folded them normal(flat) like this.

I have to say you can add more t's if you roll them. I put in 9 rolled and I can add at least 2 or 3 more. Flat I say I'm already over the top of the drawer with those same 9 t's.. Now this drawer is small. 18" wide 6" high. Most plastic containers that have drawers are around this size so in this experiment this worked perfect. I think we all need to be realistic how many clothes we can bring. I may(and that's a big maybe)rent a storage closet out near me(25.00 a month not to bad)for seasonal clothes and such. Even if I do that I'm still going to have to cut drastically. Good thing on my job I don't need dressy clothes. Any old t would do fine. Not that I come in like that LOL.
