Its Monday again....

Its a beautiful Monday..or is that morning as the song goes? We had some beautiful spring like weather today. Birds were trying out the trees but they will have to wait a while as they are still quite naked for nesting.

I got some things done on Big Bertha. I swear I didn't know I had it in me. The seat is out! I had to back light the picture as I took about 6 pm here so not the best picture but sure feels rewarding!!

Picked up the post for the bed legs. I am using the same saw to cut them. Home Depot will cut the plywood for me but not the post. As soon as their saw is up and running again. So that will have to wait until next week.

Today is Tuesday and its only 10 in the morning and boy do I have sore arms. WOAH!! All posts were cut. Two are a wee bit off but I sandpaper should take care of that. I tried to do a little more but I am completely wiped clean. So we relax for the rest of the day and continue on another ...........

Hot hot hot Whew

I know this is the first day of summer but his is ridiculous!! It was just 72 degrees and much more human pleasant then it is now.
I went into the mall today just to get some free AC and maybe to just maybe to interact with the cute kitties that a small shelter has here. First time I ever saw one in a mall and they do seem to be doing good. Westfield mall animal shelter
I would love to volunteer but sadly Im working to many hours right now to do that. I will when I get ready to cut some hours. But now wouldn't be fair to me or the animals there.
Short blog...as I am VERY tired.
On one good note tomorrow will be a little cooler and less humid.....for more pleasant human interaction.

Life is good...simply

Yeah its good when things are good!

Nothing crazy spectacular happened. Just good. Good day at work with the greatest co- workers. Wonderful customers. The sun was out but with a fast breeze. Made the flags flap like crazy ,the birds lose their balance a bit and and people sneeze. LOL Yeah allergies are among us. Me being one of big sneezers (is that a word?).  It was quiet. Good day to read outside with a good book. The biggest thing that happened...can't think of one guess that means nothing.

 Van is coming slower than I'd like

Hopefully by the middle of next month I will be searching. I'm working what ever hours I can. Walking back and forth to work. Brown bagging it. Taking buses instead of a taxi. No eating out. OK mostly. Did treat myself this weekend. Well is was my B day so had to have a little fun. What else can I do to save?

Yeah thats it for my exciting day,but it was good.

I am bored of this life

It is the rat race thing that does it. It starts early in the morning and I mean real early in the morning. Try 3AM. I need to get me to the train by 4:30 which is no real big deal since I live 10 mins from the train. When I am waiting for the big old bad noise machine to come in, its just us commuters going in the city. Well not me I go 2 stops. We ramble on the platform getting into our desired spots and try to be civil to the one next to us. No pushing. No shoving. Usually.  What I think it so funny if your standing on the ground and looking up we look like a bunch of pigeons.

We are so like our animal life and if you look to see it you'll know what I mean.
I had a talk with a customer of ours. Granted she is 85 but she has a great sense of humor. She was kidding with her Aide ...."Hurry up with have places to go things to see" and then she rolled her eyes at me. Same ole same ole. She would be great doing the RV thing...she is pretty fast on her her walker rolling thingie. She is bored. Big time.
And so am I. I need some wheels because there is so much to see right where I live in NY but so hard to get to. I lived here all my life but barely touched the surface of what it offers. One thing to really look forward to getting my rolling home. Soon. VERY soon. Because I would love to see the seals in "The End"

Which is Montauk NY. They have so many museums I can't count. Bike trails that lead you into another world...to get lost in. We have chipmunks here but you only see them in the trails for some reason. I love chipmunks. they are so cute. LOL

Without any way to get from point A to point B except by bus or train Im limited. Whats nice about it is this...when I go I can stay for a few days. I'll have a place to sleep and it will be my home. A real mini vacation..every week. Can't wait
